Let's really experience Barcelona
Barcelona is a city for the senses. A city that needs to be tasted, indulged. A city that needs to be experiences. Unfortunately for many, our time in Barcelona is too short. You arrive, you eat, you party, you hit the beach and it’s almost time to head home. So we’ve collated this collection of Barcelona experiences. Ways to taste the city, to experience the culture. To fully enjoy your time in Barcelona. We say that Barcelona is the city that never sleeps but sometimes passes out, and so it just so happens that our collection of Barcelona experiences will help you do that too.
Barcelona is a city surrounded by wine
There are 11 wine regions surrounding Barcelona, from Spain’s second of two Denominations of Origen Qualificada – the highest ranking – in Priorat, to the cava fields of Penedes just beyond the reaches of the metro, and the white wine hills of Alella – a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of town. With more than 8,500 winemakers in the region and covering some 56,000 hectares in vineyards, or 6% of the region’s total landmass.
And we fully encourage you to explore these wine regions, but a great place to begin when you might be short on time, or don’t think your expertise is yet up to the standard of the wineries, is on our ¿Wine Not? wine tasting* experiences, an unpretentious rooftop wine session that takes in a selection of delicious wines from Catalunya and greater Spain, with amazing company, and that is guaranteed to get you tipsy. ¿Wine Not? is perfect for wine novices, lovers, and experts who are looking for a fun evening with amazing people.
*wine drinking is probably more apt.
If getting wine drunk isn’t your thing, join us for a Cooking Class and learn the ins and outs of Spanish cuisine while making sure your sangria is never empty, or if you want to get out of the city, a Kayaking and Snorkeling experience up on the Costa Brava.
the perrfect complement to our Barcelona Boat Parties, these activities will make sure you stay hydrated while you’re on dry land.
